Immediately after taking over, Manohar had the BCCI treasurer office relocated to Mumbai from Chennai, and also got the board to put up its constitution on the official website.
The previous August 28 meeting had been adjourned sine die to seek the Supreme Court’s opinion on whether N Srinivasan can attend BCCI meetings as an authorised representative of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association.
The agenda is expected to include the roadmap for the next edition of the Indian Premier League, following the Supreme Court’s two-year suspension of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals in the wake of the 2013 spot-fixing and betting scandal.
High on the priority list would also be the search for a new title sponsor for the IPL following reports of PepsiCo desiring to end its association.
The date for the BCCI’s annual general meeting is also expected to be finalised.
