Amit Mishra, who seems to be in good form, picking four wickets in the warm-up game against West Indies Cricket Board President’s XI, has said that Test skipper Virat Kohli encourages him to stick to this strengths and stay positive.
“Virat Kohli is a positive person and he has created a similar positive environment within the team. He always supports me. There are no boundaries.
“He tells me, 'You're a wicket taking bowler and that is what you must do. You stay positive and stick to your strengths. Do not think about anything else," Mishra told bcci.tv

Amit Mishra has experienced Caribbean conditions before, as a part of the team touring the islands in June 2011. The leggie picked four wickets in the only Test he played, but his exposure through one-day matches might make him a key player for the team. The Delhi bowler has also said that head coach Anil Kumble’s experience will help the team immensely.
“The experience is going to help. I have played only one Test, but played more One-day cricket in the Caribbean. Anil bhai is with us (as Head Coach) and his experience is going to matter a lot.
“He has played here and he keeps telling us about the conditions. We will utilize his experience and form a strategy together," Mishra was quoted as saying.
Kumble most famously came out to bowl with a broken jaw at St. Kitts in 2002, dismissing Brian Lara and helping India draw the match.
