The true mark of a batsman's prowess is not just in scoring runs, but in the elegance and audacity with which he dispatches the ball for a six. Such was the scene in the crucial encounter between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians where Ruturaj Gaikwad hit a six leaving MS Dhoni impressed.

Mumbai's decision to field first after winning the toss paid off handsomely when they managed to claim the crucial wicket of Chennai's opener Ajinkya Rahane early in the innings. Despite this setback, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rachin Ravindra steadied the ship with a solid 52-run partnership guiding their team to 52/1 after seven overs. However, with Rachin's departure in the eighth over the onus fell heavily on Shivam Dube and Gaikwad to keep the momentum going for the visitors. Amid their partnership, a moment of brilliance unfolded that captured the attention of the packed Wankhede crowd and even earned praise from MS Dhoni.

On the final delivery of the 15th over, Akash Madhwal delivered a full toss outside off stump. Gaikwad swiftly assessed the line of the delivery advancing down the pitch and elegantly leveraging his wrists to guide the ball over the deep point for a stunning flat-six. The crowd erupted in excitement at the spectacle, while Dhoni, watching from the dressing room, couldn't help but express his admiration for the shot, signalling his approval.

The Twitter community was equally captivated by Gaikwad's exceptional stroke and took to social media platforms to marvel at its beauty.
