Controversies are no new in the cricketing fraternity and the IPL has been subjected to it as well during Mumbai Indian's recent game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. However, the IPL production gave a fitting reply to all the conjectures by using a zoom-in effect during the toss on Thursday.

Despite back-to-back wins after a hat-trick of losses to kick off the first half of IPL 2024, MI lost a recent game against the Chennai Super Kings, leaving them with just four points in six matches. However, they looked to bounce back in their next game against the Punjab Kings in Mullanpur but a zoom-in effect during the toss grabbed all the attention before the start of play.

As captains Hardik Pandya and Sam Curran (stand-in) strolled towards the center of the field for the toss, the IPL production team was seen to use a zoom-in effect to justify that the call and decision-making were done without an error by the toss officials and broadcasters. When MI faced RCB a few days ago, there were plenty of speculations regarding the match referee, Javagal Srinath overturning the coin that led MI to win the toss.

Seeing the upgradation in the IPL production phenomena, the Twitterverse could not shy away from pouring their opinions.

Good move from the production team!

Hahaha!
