ZIM vs IND | Twitter feels for Mukesh Kumar after wicket-producing jaffa gets ruled as no-ball

Every wicket is worth its weight in gold at the international level, especially when you're a young pacer hoping to cement a place in the Indian national team. Mukesh Kumar experienced all that satisfaction of a third early wicket on Sunday, only to have it crushingly taken away immediately after.

‌A mature half-innings from Sanju Samson saw India post a par total of 167/6 in the fifth and final T20I against Zimbabwe and seemed on track for a fourth victory on the trot when the hosts were rocked early on by India's pacers. Mukesh Kumar scalped two wickets within the first three overs of the innings and could have added a third to his tally had he not committed the unforgivable error of overstepping.

Tadiwanashe Marumani was on strike midway through the fourth over when the right-arm quick steamed in from around the stump that pitched on length and seamed in from the angle just enough to beat the gap between bat and pad before thumping into the off-stump. Mukesh was ecstatic at having delivered another big blow for the team as he roared and punched the air in delight. However, the celebrations came to an embarrassing halt when the bowler turned around to find the umpire had his arm extended, signalling ano-ball after receiving intimiation from upstairs.

Twitterati was quick to relay their varying emotions on social media.
