‌IPL 2024 | Twitter reacts to Ricky Bhui denying dismissal sonly to be caught red-handed

When pursuing one's passion, individuals often dismiss potential limitations in their endeavors. Similar was the case with Ricky Bhui whose chance to transcend the domestic form into IPL was limited by PBKS review despite the Andhra batter denying a potential dismissal initially.

The decision to field first after winning the toss seemed to go unwell for the Punjab Kings as the Delhi top-order gave a very good start in the first half of the innings. However, their bowlers pegged back coupled with some incredible reviews with Bhui’s dismissal in the 14th over being one of them.

On the second ball of the 14th over, Harpreet Brar dished a good length delivery down the leg stump line that Bhui tried to paddle behind the wicketkeeper. The batter nodded his head after the ball went past and the umpire followed it up with a not-out decision before Jitesh Sharma confessed the Punjab captain to go upstairs for a review. In a matter of time, the TV umpire Alex Wharf saw that there was a spike as the ball traversed past the edge of the bat, and therefore the decision had to be overturned.
