SRH vs MI | Twitter explodes as Kishan replicating Dhoni swag results in extra run amidst Sunrisers' run rampage

Maintaining composure is imperative for a team when they're enduring batting carnage from the opposition. However, the scenario seemed different when Ishan Kishan, trying to replicate Dhoni's iconic run-out, ended up costing Mumbai Indians conceding extra runs, adding more worry to their bowling.

‌Sunrisers Hyderabad made an impressive start despite losing the toss and being sent in to bat first by Hardik Pandya. Opening batsmen Mayank Agarwal and Travis Head propelled their team to 45/0 in just four overs with the Aussie showcasing his dominance with a striking display, achieving a half-century off just 18 deliveries. However, following the dismissals of Head and Agarwal, Abhishek Sharma efficiently carried the batting responsibility, and bettered Head's record by scoring a half-century in just 16 deliveries. Amidst Hyderabad's strong batting performance, Ishan Kishan's attempt to throw the ball towards the stumps resulted in leaking runs needlessly.

In the eleventh over, Piyush Chawla delivered a short ball outside the off stump, prompting Aiden Markram to cut it towards deep point. As Tilak Verma retrieved the ball and threw it to Kishan, Markram and Sharma completed two runs comfortably. However, Kishan failed to realize that Markram had already reached the crease. Despite Kishan's attempt to quickly throw the ball towards the stumps, whilst facing the other way, his effort missed, allowing an extra run for Markram and Sharma while leaving Kishan visibly disheartened.

The incident quickly gained attention on social media platforms, with Twitter users discussing and sharing their thoughts on the matter.
