The role of the crowd in a stadium is typically to cheer and support their teams, but occasionally, they take on the extra task of retrieving balls that land in the parking lot. A similar moment occurred during the CPL match when Faf du Plessis hit a massive six that sailed into the parking area.

‌The Kings’ opening partnership of Faf du Plessis and Johnson Charles got off to a strong start, pushing the score to 29/0 within the first three overs. Both batters were in fine form, aggressively taking on Pakistan’s bowling pair, Mohammed Amir and Imad Wasim. Du Plessis, in particular, was in stellar touch and added his trademark flair with a towering six off Amir after getting off the mark with a single.

On the fourth ball of the third over, Amir delivered a short ball aimed at du Plessis' body. The South African read the length perfectly, positioning himself to execute the shot. Standing tall, he struck the ball powerfully towards deep mid-wicket for a monstrous six. The force of du Plessis’ shot sent the ball soaring through the air, with the wind helping his cause. The ball didn't just go miles away from the ropes but cleared the stadium itself. The ball landed towards the car parking arena of the Stadium, leaving the spectators in awe.

 Faf, you legend!
