‌Delhi Capitals, sparked by Abishek Porel’s quickfire start but bogged down by early setbacks, posted 188/5 thanks to late strikes from Axar Patel and Tristan Stubbs. Rajasthan Royals replied in kind, with Yashasvi Jaiswal’s fifty and Nitish Rana’s blitz keeping them in contention until Mitchell Starc’s double strike in the 18th over closed the gap. The super over surely was loaded with lots of drama blended with Riyan Parag’s comical run out.

On the fourth delivery of the Super Over, Mitchell Starc bowled a full ball that drifted down the leg side, and Parag missed the glance, so the ball brushed his front pad. KLR collected it and underarmed it to Starc, who gathered the ball and ran to the non‑striker’s end to whip off the bails. Parag then walked back to the hut in a comical fashion on a free hit and the Twitterverse laughed at his misfortune as they discussed it on social media.
