IND vs ENG | Twitter enjoys Kohli and Livingstone fuel pre-IPL RCB camaraderie after Rashid’s near miss

The environment is as important as anything else when working or in the team you represent. Undoubtedly, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru have built a positive atmosphere in the IPL realm as Virat Kohli and Liam Livingstone were seen enjoying camaraderie a month before the tourney’s start.

Winning the toss, England wished to chase the total in the third ODI at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. Mark Wood was quick to outsmart the Indian captain Rohit Sharma who’s coming off a fresh century in Cuttack. However, the bowling group failed to further capitalize on the early blow as Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill executed their natural gameplay in the first hour of the innings. Just when the pair seemed fluent with their strokeplay, England captain Jos Buttler summoned his favourite match-up against Kohli by bringing in Adil Rashid into the attack, making way for a lovely banter.

After a soft-handed jab to short mid-wicket off the back foot on the first ball of the 15th over. Kohli was beaten on the inside edge in an attempt to defend a fuller delivery. Rashid bowled a leg break that went straighter at the leg stump to thud Kohli’s front pad. Soon, the strong appeal was turned down by the onfield umpire, leading to an England review. With no bat involved, the TV umpire waited for the ball-tracking where it was vivid that the white rock missed pitching on the leg stump line by a feather. Subsequently, the original decision remained and Livingstone was seen strolling towards the right-hander and playfully poking him with a two-finger gesture. In reply, the former Indian captain smiled and pushed him away, sparking RCB camaraderie in the Twittervere ahead of IPL 2025.
