After missing out on the premier European club competition – UEFA Champions League – last season, Jose Mourinho will look to guide Manchester United to glory in the second-tier competition – UEFA Europa League – this season. The Red Devils have been drawn in Group A alongside Fenerbahce, Feyenoord FC, and FC Zorya Luhansk, and it will pave the way for former Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie to return to Old Trafford with the striker now plying his trade in Turkey with Fenerbahce. Dutch Eredivisie side Feyenoord FC and FC Zorya Luhansk of Ukraine will provide tricky away fixtures for Jose Mourinho’s side.
Southampton are the second team from England in the Europa League this season and will face a tough task to qualify for the next stage of the competition after drawing Serie A giants Inter Milan in Group K. Israel club Hapoel Be'er Sheva FC and AC Sparta Prague from Czech Republic are the other two teams in the group.
