Celtic have rejected multiple bids from Arsenal for their prized left-back, Kieran Tierney so far this summer. However, Unai Emery and company are quite adamant on signing the Scotland international. The Gunners’ first bid of £15 million was immediately rejected and the North London side then made an improved offer of £25 million.
That was rejected as well, as it consisted of multiple clauses and bonuses, which is not what Celtic wanted. But Sky Sports has reported that Arsenal are willing to make a third offer for the left-back before the summer window ends.
There is no doubt about the quality of player that Tierney is, Neil Lennon insisting that Celtic will not budge on their valuation of the 22-year-old left-back, which sits around £25 million, with a certain cash amount up-front.
The transfer deadline closes on the 8th of August and the North London club is increasingly growing in confidence as they look forward to securing the services of Tierney. The 22-year-old has won five Scottish league titles and will potentially become Arsenal's fifth signing of the season, hot on the heels of Nicolas Pepe and Dani Ceballos.
