The Champions League draw is done and dusted and it does look like Manchester City have arguably the easiest group amongst the four Premier League sides. 2019 Europa League winners Chelsea have been put in a group alongside Ajax, Valencia and LOSC Lille, while 2019 Champions League winners Liverpool will face Napoli, RB Salzburg and Genk.
Tottenham will face Bayern Munich, Olympiakos and Red Star Belgrade and Manchester City take on Shakhtar Donetsk, Dinamo Zagreb and Atalanta. Somehow once again, all four Premier League sides have somehow managed to avoid the three Spanish giants in Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. They, however, have their own challenges, having been drawn against some of Europe's top sides.
The Los Blancos are set to face Paris Saint-Germain, Club Brugge, and Galatasaray. Barcelona will face Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan and Slavia Prague, while Atletico have been drawn against Juventus, Bayer Leverkusen and Lokomotiv Moscow. This year’s group stages start on the 17 of September, after the international break, with the final set to be held in Istanbul on the 30 of May 2020.
