In light of questions about his future, Mohamed Salah has revealed that he knows he has only one year left on his current contract but added that not everything in the negotiations is about money. The 29-year-old has thrived for Liverpool since arriving at the club, netting a sensational 155 goals.

With less than eighteen months left on his current contract, the biggest question that Liverpool face going into the summer transfer window is what to do with Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian has been a prolific, lethal and menacing goalscorer for the Reds, netting well over 150 goals in just five seasons and that includes a 30 goal season already this term. However, the fact that Salah’s 29 combined with the money in play has many fans wondering whether this is the right move for the Reds.

But negotiations have been ongoing for more than a few months and it has seen quite a few questions asked about Salah especially amidst rumours of a potential 300,000 a week salary. But the Egyptian revealed that the negotiations are not all about money and he is not worried as the season is not over year. Furthermore, the 29-year-old also added that they’ll make a decision in the summer but admitted that the fans already know what he wants to do.

"I don't know, I have one year left. I think the fans know what I want, but in the contract, it's not everything about the money at all. So I don't know, I can't tell you exactly. I have one year left and the fans know what I want," Salah said, reported ESPN.

"I'm not worried, I don't let myself worry about something. The season didn't finish yet, so let's finish it in the best possible way -- that's the most important thing. Then in the last year, we're going to see what's going to happen."
