Neymar Jr was not able to give his best performance in the 2024 season, as he is willing to move forward and shift his focus to the FIFA World Cup 2026. He will be playing for Brazil and recently, Neymar Jr also called it as the last shot for him to get the World Cup title.

He suffered a knee injury while playing for Al-Hilal in October 2023, and this injury kept him out of action for a long period of time. Ever since his comeback, he is now determined to give his best performances for the team and take up all the opportunities in the next tournaments which will be played in Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

Following an interview, Neymar Jr also said,“I know this is my last World Cup, so it’s my last shot, my last opportunity.”This statement by the legendary star shows that he won't be playing the World Cup anymore after the 2026 edition.

Further he said,“I’m going to do everything possible so that we can achieve it.“It comes as a bold statement from Neymar Jr, as he is now determined to give his best performance in the upcoming World Cup and help Brazil win the title.
