Erling Haaland recently talked about the tough and challenging season for Manchester City in the current season, as the team had just one win in 13 games across all competitions. The team now prepares for the upcoming clash against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.

Haaland said that the team's struggle in the current season also helped him to appreciate their previous successes in various tournaments. The team has been champions in the Premier League two times in the last four seasons, as they currently stand at the fifth spot in the standings.

Currently, they are also 12 points behind Liverpool, as they grabbed just one win in their last 13 games played in November and December. Among this unbeaten streak, Erling Haaland's contract with the team has also been extended to a massive period of 9.5 years, which further shows the team's mood to rank up in the standings.

Erling Haaland said,“It’s been hard and challenging. But also something good comes out of that as well. It’s about learning, it’s about getting better. You need to look at yourself first and then look forward, and that’s what we’re doing right now.”
