Singapore then drew level as Mengyu Yu defeated India’s Madhurika Patkar in straight sets as the former won 13-11, 11-2, 11-6. In the doubles game (third match), Mouma Das and Madhurika Patkar gave India the lead as they won a four-setter 11-7, 11-6, 8-11, 11-7.
In the fourth match of the final, Batra returned for her singles match and completely dominated it to win it 3-0.
