After PKL, Puneri Paltan joins Ultimate Table Tennis ahead of season 3

After the Pro Kabaddi League, the Insurekot Sports Private Limited, franchise owner of Puneri Paltan, has now purchased the Pune franchise in the Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) ahead of the third season of the tournament. The 2019 edition of the UTT will begin from July 25 in New Delhi.

Punekars have a new team to cheer for, from this July. Insurekot Sports Private Limited (Franchisee Holder of Puneri Paltan Kabaddi Team) has ventured in Table Tennis by purchasing Puneri Paltan Table Tennis in the Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT). 

Punekars have showered their love on Puneri Paltan that plays in the Pro Kabaddi League. Now, the sports enthusiasts of the city have another team, to cheer for, in the Ultimate Table Tennis.  

By foraying into Table Tennis, Insurekot Sports Pvt Ltd has expanded its footprint in sports. InsurekotSports is committed towards encouraging sports and the decision to pick a team in UTT gave the franchisee holder a natural extension to their sports venture. 

Speaking on this occasion, Kailash Kandpal, CEO, Insurekot Sports Pvt Ltd said, “TT is a fast-paced game of great concentration and reflexes as it requires speed and pace which keeps the viewer engaged. 

UTT is an enabler that has given the Indian TT players a platform to perform better in the international circuit, hence we backed UTT and its vision to get Indian TT players on the podium at the Olympics.” 

Speaking on this occasion, Parag Agarwal, Assistant Coach of Puneri Paltan Table Tennis team said, “We formed a balanced team. We have experienced Indian and Foreign players in the team along with the young turks who have immense potential. This is the first season when Puneri Paltan Table Tennis will play in UTT. 

We will give our best and ensure that the fans experience world class table tennis. Our aim is to establish a mark in the world of Table Tennis and produce podium finishers who can win laurels for the country.”
