Mirza and Hingis, ranked one and two in the world in doubles, beat the German-Romanian pair of Anna-Lena Friendsam and Monica Niculescu 6-2, 6-3 in 65 minutes in the quarterfinals after being given a bye in the opening round.
Mirza and Hingis will meet Julia Glushko (Israel) and Rebecca Peterson (Sweden) in the semifinals on Friday.
Young Indian Ankita Raina and her Chinese partner Ying Zang lost 6-4, 6-1 to the Serbian pair of Jelena Jankovic and Aleksandra Krunic in the first round.
