Darts, boxing, and golf headline a busy week of online betting action. In today’s betting blog, we run through the odds and prices from the next few days.

The below prices are indicative and may be subject to fluctuation

Please remember that unlike fixed odds betting, when spread betting losses can exceed deposits.

GOLF – THE OPEN

In what will come as a shock to no-one, least of all golf betting punters, Rory McIlroy and Scottie Sheffler head the betting for the 2025 Open. Scheffler is the 11/2 favourite, but his T7 finish last year was his best in four attempts at the Open, with the American finishing T8 at last weekend’s Scottish Open. Rory McIlroy finished second at that Renaissance Club event and he can be backed at 7/1, with 2023 runner-up Jon Rahm priced at 11/1 and defending champion Xander Schauffele chalked up at 22/1.

The last winner of the Open at Royal Portrush was Shane Lowry and at 28/1 he would be a popular winner, with the man who finished second to him that year a 22/1 shot in the form of Tommy Fleetwood. Undoubtedly the ‘nearly man’ of the Tour, the Lancastrian would be another popular winner.

In addition to our fixed odds market where we are paying 1/5 odds on the first seven, we have a wide range of matchbets priced up with Fleetwood 4/5 to beat Tyrell Hatton in a battle of the English. There is also a wide range of group betting with wagers accepted on the Top Dane, Asian, Swede, British, French, LIV Golfer, and former winner.

Finally, we also have a full range of golf spread betting markets to keep your interest piqued over the four days of action including Number Of Players Under Par and the Lowest Round Score.

DARTS – WORLD MATCHPLAY

After a long hiatus, we finally have a ranking darts tournament to look forward to, and rather like the golf, there are no prizes for guessing who the boys are to beat in Blackpool. Luke Littler was dumped out in the first-round last year by Michael Van Gerwen, but the Nuke is 9/5 to blow the field away over the next few weeks, with his great rival and namesake Luke Humphries chalked up at 13/5.

Humphries is the defending champion, but the form horse could well be Gerwyn Price, with the Welshman winning five titles on the tour this year, more than anyone else. A runner-up in 2022, the fiery Welshman can be backed at 17/2 to lift the Phil Taylor Trophy.

With the action getting underway on Saturday evening, there are plenty of darts spread betting specials markets to enjoy with all matches already priced up.

BOXING – USYK V DUBOIS II

Daniel Dubois and Oleksandr Usyk renew acquaintances in the ring this weekend as the pair go toe-to-toe at Wembley Stadium. The 27-year-old Londoner is aiming to become the first Briton to hold all the heavyweight belts since Lennox Lewis in 1999 and he will feel he has every chance after a destructive display against Anthony Joshua at the same venue. Usyk, however, is the 3/10 favourite on Saturday with Dubois an 11/4 shot and the draw available to back at 16/1.

When the pair met in Wroclaw back in 2023, Usyk recorded a win in the ninth round and the Ukrainian is 21/20 to win by stoppage this time around. If Dubois is to get the win, it is more likely to come by stoppage (15/4) than by points (12/1) against a man who is yet to taste defeat in his 23-fight professional career.

With his last six fights coming against British opposition, Usyk has developed quite a following on these shores, and he can be traded at 8-11 on our 10/3 Supremacy market. This spread sees 10 points awarded to the fight winner, plus another three points for every round remaining in the fight if there is a stoppage (including the round where the stoppage occurred.

So, for example, Usyk’s ninth round win last time would have seen the spread settle at 22 (10 points for the win and 12 points for the rounds remaining). Were Daniel Dubois to win in the 10th round, the spread would settle at -19.
